Korine returns to the sand-and-surf boardwalk country of SPRING BREAKERS for his hugely anticipated new film, in which Matthew McConaughey models a trunkful of alarming Hawaiian shirts and leads a literally unbelievable ensemble that includes Zac Efron, Jimmy Buffett, Snoop Dogg, Martin Lawrence, and a Cajun-fried Jonah Hill. McConaughey is Moondog, an ageless, unreconstructed party animal/poet—the character name homages the famous 6th Avenue songwriter and eccentric—barely balancing the demands of a family that includes fed-up well-to-do wife Isla Fisher, while living life in a booze-soaked Margaritaville of the Mind.
